Easter Seals

Establishing a new model of fundraising collaboration.

Barker & Scott helped define the full set of organization-wide business rules needed for the implementation of an enterprise fundraising solution.

“Working with Barker & Scott was a wonderful experience.”

The Details

Barker & Scott took the lead in facilitating the development of organizational business rules for the CRM solution. We led a team of representatives from the headquarters office and two pilot affiliates through a series of software design sessions in order to develop a standard configuration and business rules for managing constituent data.

In addition, Barker & Scott provided change management support by crafting communications to key stakeholders and facilitating decision-making meetings with a team of Executive Directors from the affiliates and senior staff from Headquarters. In particular, Barker & Scott’s best practice expertise and “lessons learned” from other organizations provided significant value to Easter Seals in helping to plan for the adoption of new models for data sharing and fundraising collaboration.

Client Feedback

Working with Barker & Scott was a wonderful experience. Their extensive knowledge of CRM and nonprofit best practices contributed greatly to the advancement of our multi-year initiative that would develop our enterprise wide database solution, create a framework for collaborative fundraising and lay the foundation for effective business rules and processes, and implement change management. With their help, we were able to articulate a vision, gather support and make early progress in this initiative. Both Doug and Lisa are knowledgeable, professional and complement each other’s strengths and are great to work with.
